IT'S NOT ABOUT MATERIAL AND WEALTH, YOU WILL DIE AND LEAVE IT ALL BEHIND by judith roumou

My goal was to set up blogs/vlogs/phlogs and to reach millions of people, and to encourage other St Maarteners to blog. To assist them and help them set up etc, those were my goals.
In 4 years I've reached over 5 million views with my St Marten blogs, over 15 million with video, over 24 million views to my photos. You can't google St Maarten without seeing my contents. Those were my goals, they never were monetary. I might continue to struggle, but have I accomplished what I set out to do, and the answer is a resounding...
YES!!!
I might die tonight, knowing I did what I was born to do, whether there was monetary gain or not. The ones who consider me to be a failure will die and leave all their suits, cars and land behind. My words will always live on.
Paul was imprisoned when he wrote Revelations.
His words live on today, where are his critics?
Who were his personal critics?
They all died and were 4gotten, but the man they persecuted and laughed at...
His word lives on.
Some will understand, some won't
Some will understand but continue to live in denial.

ST MARTIN GIVES THE AMERICAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT....IT'S CALLED CHIKUNGUNYA

The U.S. can never say that St Martin has never given them anything for Christmas. Reports are coming out of the U.S.A. that the same strain of the Denghue virus known as Chikungunya or "The Illness that Bends", has been detected in a passenger that recently visited the island and then returned to the USA. The Chikungunya is a mosquito borne virus. People infected experience severe flu like symptoms. What sets this strain of the virus apart is that it can cause intense, agonizing lifelong pain to the joints. The pain is supposed to be so severe, that it causes people to crouch-or bend over in pain. And that's why it's call the disease that bends. Chikungunya got on his magic cape, flew right over Dutch St Maarten, and all the Antilles and went straight to the big time. I hope it got its Visa and Green Card, because American Immigration is strict about it policies. In an effort to keep the virus at bay. Dutch St Maarten Minister of Health Cornelius de Weever has been spraying Dutch St Maarten like crazy. The trucks have been everywhere, and we smell like a chemical plant, but oh well, at least we don't have Chikungunya!

THE NEW CAUSEWAY OPENING IS A DISASTER, PEOPLE TAKE TO SOCIAL MEDIA TO VENT

I stand corrected, new causeway DOES help with traffic in Simpson Bay, let's see if was just a coincidence. I hope not!

  • Greg Whyte Just because the weather was so bad no one was out!
  • Kendall Dupersoy Maybe ... we'll see soon enough ... someone posted an hour ago that traffic on the Cole Bay side was terrible.
  • Kendall Dupersoy Got to love social media
  • Miguel Duberry Watson the problem is the round about by the border, the traffic from Bellevue is congesting the round about, the traffic going to the causeway from Cole bay was terrible around 10am, after the round about the traffic was good, I was heading airport side.
  • Kendall Dupersoy There you have it!!! Live report!!!
  • Julian Lake The roundabout Idea in Colebay is a terrible one. They should've left a straight road (alternate route) for traffic heading to the frenchside and visa versa. All traffic is now funneled onto one roundabout..... our solution for everything. the Causeway in itself was and still is a good idea. How we direct traffic on and off of it is the problem.
  • Miguel Duberry Watson The problem was the traffic from Bellevue was blocking the round about
  • Vito Charles Kendall, the causeway could have never solved the problem, it simply reroutes traffic from one problem area and deposits in another problem area. The only people that this causeway will help are those that are going from Simpson Bay and staying Cole Bay. Everywhere else is just running into the same bottlenecks. St. Maarten has to start looking at the hard questions that it has been avoiding when it comes to traffic and transportation, like limiting cars (this has to be done in conjunction with the French Side.) Also some sort of light rail solution from
  • Vito Charles Philipsburg to Simpson Bay/Airport and Philipsburg to South Reward/Sint Peters. There is simply no road that can be built that will solve the traffic problem that doesn't involve minimizing the amount of cars on the road.
  • Duane Robin ^^ And so much sense was made in that argument. Thank you, Vito. I completely agree with you. Light-rail could really work. But nothing gets solved by allowing more auto imports and then filling ponds and lagoons every time someone realizes again, "Oh, damn, traffic's congested and nobody can park."
  • Rene Wilson Well i was in traffic out of simpsonbay for about two hours, so i dont see how it is helping with traffic when everyone is trying to get to town>
  • Lamin Ibrahim Kendall may agree now..but wait until they start charging to use the bridge and people decide they wont pay.....
  • Don Liburd New causeway without traffic 30 seconds from colebay to simpsonbay. Guess with traffic might be a little more. Definately a great job. Now next the tunnel!

Not the police for sure nor the Government fire department!! so you name it!! and when all you fools are done, then get back to me! Jackasses!!!!!
  • Rene Wilson Dont forget the indian man that went over the edge of St Maarten runway and died in 6ft of water!! but i think by the causeway bridge its about 30ft!!! So think foools.
  • Lamin Ibrahim I am more concerned about the future tariffs that will be imposed on the theo heyliger causeway.

  • Lufrani Arrindell a lot of 'enterprising minds' and hypocrites will be on the chopping block in 2014. 4 years after 10-10-10 everybody thinks that he/she is some type of web/social networking guru. They THINK that they have all that they need, but they don't and are setting themselves up for failure. This is deja-vu 2009 all over again, the same spineless idiots going at each other, with the same old tired arguments, but not a solution in site. Kendall Dupersoy can't say shizz about anybody in government right now, because Marlin's only difference with Sarah is that Sarah knows how to hold on to power, but Marlin doesn't. Every politicians throwing every other politiician under the bus right now, but in a couple months they'll be joining as a coalition. Ask Kendall what was so different when Marlin was in power, and when Sarah was in power. And to the other idiots, I have NO questions, because they have NO answers, they're only good 4 bickering back and forth like a bunch a ladies at a church assembly. The so called facebook revolutionaries do nothing but argue amongst each other, because they have no original arguments. And they are scared to debate anyone outside their circle, less they get called out.  2014 should be interesting. Many of these so called 'revolutionaries feel that some should be put 6 feet under, rather than reveal the truth...and somehow they are different, somehow they are an improvement. I makesure I bookmark all these comments, so that they are not just on facebook, but worldwide.
