There were allegations that Jeroen Veen was working for Francesco Corallo, but no one has provided any evidence to those claims.
I guess it will be left up to the ‘vetting committee’ to investigate the allegations furher.
Veen, who according to sources lives on property at Cupecoy, owned by Corallo, arrived in St Maarten in 1992.
Some claim that he is constantly in the company of Corallo, but it seems to be an informal relationship.
If, as suggested Veen has been giving Corallo, legal advice- but not in a professional capacity,
I’m not sure whether that is against the ‘rules’ or not.
As soon as Jeroen’s Veen name was suggested as the New Minister of Justice, the consigliere rumors started.
Consiglieri’s are Mob or Mafia lawyers…. pretty much, guys who advice Organised Crime- how to get away with illicit activity.
Until someon can come up with some real evidence, that PROVES Veen works/has worked for Corallo,
It will remain just that…….
speculation and rumor.
